Article 5 by Kristen Simmons

I came across this book because I was in the mood for a post-apocalyptic or some sort of dystopian novel. I was very pleased with my choice! The idea of "The Moral Statutes of the United States of America," replacing the Bill of Rights is sadly not so far-fetched... Anyhow, the writing in this book is outstanding and I felt connected with the heroine, Ember, throughout the whole story. There was a lot of suspense, action, and a little romance too. I would recommend this book. I already reserved a copy of the sequel, Breaking Point, at my library.

Just an update: I finished Breaking Point, and it was as good as the first book, Article 5. You will not want to miss it.
