When lead character Jared gets the first glimpse of a mysterious girl in a club parking lot, he knows everything is going to change. Knowing that it is his duty to capture this strange girl, he begins fruitlessly pursuing her. Will he successfully tag her and go back to his boring life, or will she change him? Read it and find out! Tables turn and surprises arise as you get lost in this fantasy novel. You will not be able to put it down!

This book captured me from the moment I began reading it. I instantly connected to the character Ilume, with her fiery temper and sarcastic manner. This girl manages to be both fierce and vulnerable at the same time- a characteristic that all the best characters have! My absolutely favorite part of this book is the amazing plot twists. No book is good without a few surprises, and this one is chock full of them! At times I was left completely shell-shocked, wondering how I couldn’t have made the connections myself.

Every time this author managed to shock with me a new bombshell I had to stop and think back through what I had just read to make sure everything matched up. It did! This story had a perfect spider-web (pun-intended, for those who have read this) plan to make sure that everything was right on point. This story is the type to drag you into a world you’ve never experienced, and make you feel as though you are right there beside the characters in action. You will laugh, and you will cry when they do, and you’ll wish you were there.

The only thing I believe could benefit this story would be to make Jared’s character a bit more relatable. Though he was great, I didn’t see many places where I would have done things in the way he did. But maybe that’s just because I’m not a teenage boy. I’m also not a brave and fearless Finder!

My rating for this review is a solid 4 out of 4 stars! I would 100% recommend this book to any reader who wishes to be transported to another world. One you want to get lost in. You will be transfixed from the moment you begin, and you will not want to put it down. You will fall in love with the good characters and hate the bad ones, right along with the rest of them!
