Thanks for the review!
I actually just started reading it and was honestly a bit put off by Adam's character and the writing style. I feel the writing is a bit too complicated for a YA book. But after reading your review, it does seem that the book will get very interesting and that Adam might not be so bad after all. And perhaps I'll get used to the writing. Either way, I'm gonna keep reading it :)

I would love to add more compliments, but much has been said already. However, I also enjoyed a lot reading this piece of fiction. I praise you for the review.

Completely agree, the errors were easily spotted but fortunately, the plot was interesting enough. Thank you for this honest review!

It sounds like it would be a good book to read! It sucks about the errors, but you did mention there weren't many, so it can maybe be ignorable. I find it interesting how they switch the point of views when using first person. I know several books do it, but I can't help but be a bit fascinated every tine I see it!

Complex, dark characters make a really interesting read, takes you places you couldn't even think of. It's terrible it had to be rated lower given the errors but this looks like a sure read.

This seems to be a captivating story of Adam and Carly. I love the fact that it is a sci-fi and mystery book.

Yes, I had similar thoughts toward the beginning, even after seeing the trigger warnings on the Amazon page. Even though there are so many reasons to not like Adam, I found myself endured to him. There was a level of guilt and confusion that made me believe that he was a better character than readers saw at first. His commitment to Carly and the way he handles forgiveness with his mother later in the book makes it all worth it. Definitely recommend you read it.

This just sounds so alluring, definitely a must for my bookshelf. I am a bit hesitant about Adam getting a totally new makeover in regards of personality development though, a saga is meant to take the development slow, isn't it? The review claims it's a good job, and well it does seem very convincing.

I love characters with superpowers. Adam and Carly's characters seem to be well-developed as teenagers. Lovely review, thank you.

It sounds like a young boy story in a japanese light novel and seems great to read it. Thanks for your review!
