"Quite a few times, I even found myself looking up certain words as I had never seen or heard them before. I, for one, will not complain about learning some new words."

Thanks for the note about the new words. I love it when authors challenge us to look up words, search for ideas, research historical information. Thanks so much for the review.

The complexity of mind, strange, weird people...it's an atmosphere i'd rather be in. Always tend to be attached to those kind of people. So this makes it clear, that i'm definitely going for it!

This actually seems like my kind of book. I love when an author delves into dark and complex characters.
Hopefully all the typos will be fixed by the time I read it.
Great review!

I am currently reading this book and have already found several errors, which is sad. It definitely takes away from a good book. Thank you for your review! It is what made me decide to read this book.

This was a great review. Thank you. I find it annoying when I read books with many errors, but what you've written leads me to think I might like this book yet. Definitely going to add it to my bookshelf.

Dark, inappropriate thoughts?? Sounds intriguing. I love a spot of good character development. Thanks for the interesting review!

I have always heard of Opaque . I never new that it's such a fascinating read. I love the growing of Adam after Carly came into the picture of his life. Adam lived a dark life, with no real friends and inappropriate thoughts towards others. This makes the title of the book appropriate. My thinking is, if it was not of the errors which are easily spotted, this book deserves a rating of 4 stars out of 4.

I enjoyed how the book came into being. The growth of the characters is what stood out for me.

Nice review! Seems like a book I would pick up with all the elements of sci-fi and YA.

This sounds like a great read! A little similar to the Twilight theme, but then branching out in its own originality. I like how you include the thoughts the characters have in the book, it makes it more interesting.
