I've always liked this author's books and this one was amazing as always. Gena Showlater is a NYT bestseller author and she earned it.
Lifeblood is the sequel to Firstlife and it talks about Tenley Lockwood. This girl has to sign to Troika or Myriad, which are two cities, two worlds completely different. The former prefers peace, the latter prefers war. In another way, Troika is light and Myriad is darkness.
Tenley has signed with Troika but loves Killian, a Myridian. And while war burst in her messed up life, she has to choose between the man she loves and the world she ha chosen.
