From reading this review, I feel like Adam is an interesting and relatable character. I have always loved sci-fi books with a good plot, so I can't wait to get my hands on this book. Great review, by the way.

A fascinating story of mutated humans who are having biokenretic abilities is nicely presented in the young adult Sci-Fi fantasy novel "Opaque" by Calix Leigh-Reign, which follows 16-year old Adam who undergoes biokenretic change. The setting in Piure, California with essence of Russian ancestry, and romance adds to the appeal.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Even though I am not a fun of series books, the reviews seems reliable and the characters relatable. So I am thinking of starting the book.

That the characters not only deal with their mutation but also with mundane issues is an asset to the tale. It does sound like it would make a great movie. Does it stand on is own?
Thank you for the review!
X-men: Jean got struck by solar flares in the upper atmosphere, and because of her specials abilities she was able to contain a mystic power she couldn't control. Adams' Biokenretic abilities seems inherited from descendants of his kind and I kind of like the story outline since he doesn't appear destructive or seems to lost control of himself. I think I like this one congrats...

Young adult Sci-fi books are always great reads especially when the story involves great themes such as adventures. This book sure sounds good and I'd definitely be interested in reading it.

Ahh the sweet sixteen! 😍 Adam and Carly sound like any other teenager, except for the mutation, that is. I am not that much into superhero stories, but this sounds fascinating. I am also curious about the Russian ancestry and the enemy, Iksha. I can’t wait to find out how the story unfolds for the two, Adam and Carly.

Thank you for the lovely review!

This seems very interesting. Young adult sci/fi isn't my favorite genre but if the story has a lot of action and plot twists, I'm in. I'll definitely give it a chance. Congratulations on BOTD!

It sounds like there are a lot of good things going on in this work. I'm interested to see how the supernatural aspect and the inclusion of Russian culture twine together. Thank you for your review.

I'm definitely reading this book. Yes I'm not a sci-fi reader, but this sounds more like it's mixed with fantasy and that is definite for me. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD

I am hooked and like the premise of the story. Russian bloodlines, superpowers in teenagers, just up my ally. Awesome, added to my list. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

This book seems like an interesting Science fiction novel. The balance between Adam's destructive character and Charly's calm character is what I like. Great review
