Grim Daze (The Grim Chronicles Book 2) by D.R. Martin is an intriguing and imaginative fantasy book that tells the story of different species. The book is a collection of different stories about animals in nature and fantasy animals that are brought together so wonderfully to create amazing stories.

The author tells tales of love, friendship, family, and living together. This book is set in the years of war, and the author creates unbelievable situations where different species tell the tales. The author makes use of captains, sailors, and different types of ships out at sea during the war. The story of the wolves shifts to another story about a captain and then shifts to Queen Kaela, a gorgeous wolf, and then to King Thane. Then the story shifts to other creatures, such as cats.

My favorite story was with three gorgeous wolves named Howl, Bertha, and Peat, who travel on a journey from Grimsland to meet Takori, a well-respected and feared dragon who lives at sea. Takori offers a good, healthy meal, and then Howl and Peat set off back to Grimsland while Bertha stays. Follow and read all the stories to find out more.

I really liked this book and appreciate the author's dedication to taking time to think about what animals he would use while writing it. This book has amazing fantasy creatures, which makes the book much more interesting for readers. The hybrid genre and the slight fighting scenes in the book make the reader hooked on thinking about what will happen next or what the next sorry will be about.

There wasn't anything that I disliked in this book. This book is well edited, as I have found no errors while reading. This book is easy to read and understand and is written in simple English. I really liked that the author included different websites and also included a table of illustrations. The author makes use of a key at the beginning of the book to show the different land sites and different animals being used, and the author includes impressive images throughout the book.

I rate this book five out of five stars due to the reasons above. I recommend this book to readers over the age of fourteen, and I recommend this book to adults. This book is well suited for fantasy lovers.
