The author of "Bound by Fate" is Aria Knight. Aria recently completed their college studies and finds pleasure in observing others' behaviors. This is mirrored in the thoughtful plot and novel.

Have you ever desired a second chance at life? A chance to alter course and bring about a different result. Genevieve, the lead character in "Bound by Fate," achieves this. Genevieve is quiet and less inclined to speak up in her first life. She speaks up, confronts her bullies, and modifies her earlier behavior in her do-over. Genevieve finds herself torn between two worlds: the past and the present. This gets mixed up a lot, so she has to distinguish between the way things were and the way they seem to her right now. She must filter and accept Vincent's current gentler, kinder version of himself because, in her past life, he was a more forceful love interest. She keeps running across characters from her previous life throughout the book, and she contrasts their roles then and now. There are frequently important distinctions in addition to commonalities.

It feels like Genevieve is carrying the entire world on her shoulders. In addition to attending college, working various jobs, taking care of her mom's health issues, and preparing her mom wholesome meals, she keeps up a pace that most people would crumble under.

The way the author tackled Genevieve's objectification in her professions and uniforms without being naïve and just avoiding talking about it was my favorite part of the novel. Another thing that caught my attention and made me decide to read the book was its stunning cover.

If I had to find fault with this book, it would be the pace. Even though I don't mind a slow pace, I felt like the book stagnated. There was a gradual burn to the romance that never really happened.

Because "Bound by Fate" was expertly edited, it was enjoyable to read. It was simple to follow the author without becoming lost as she transitioned from one life to the next and back again. I thought the book's concept was fantastic since, let's face it, who hasn't wanted to have handled a circumstance alternately or made a different decision? I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and think the author's debut work is really impressive.
