Summer Fated To Be Mine developed into a coming of age journey that I couldn't wait to see unfold. I found no grammatical errors. I did find that jumping back and forth between the past and present to be a bit confusing at times, especially when referencing the passage of time, for example, it was October in one chapter (past) and then Memorial Day (present) in another. I found it hard to keep up with how much time had passed and the chronological order of the events. There were some elements of the story that seemed to have a dead end that I would have LOVED to have seen how they played out. At the beginning of the story, Glory hints that she has prior knowledge of Zac.There was a quite a bit of banter about this issue between the two but it never played out. I was anxious to see how his dad's brother and family would play into the story, surmising that they had something to do with his mother's disappearance but nothing became of it, they seemed like irrelevant characters unless the relationship between Zac's dad and brother was to mirror Zac's relationship with Kallum but it wasn't a correlation was ever recognized by Zac, Kallum, or Zac's dad. I really wanted to know what happened to his mom! (I hope there's a sequel, I want to know how it plays out with Glory and Zac and how they navigated their relationship in lieu of their parents relationship). I fell in love with Zac, hated Kallum (and cupid), was so irritated with Iliana, felt sorry for Eli and Eva being caught in the middle, and cheered on Glory for being brave and pushing forward. The phrase "I took a page from his/her book" was a little over used at one point in the story and the word "wonder" was used in place of "said" or "asked" a lot. For some reason, the word "wonder didn't seem to be a correct synonym for "said" or "asked". Perhaps it had been "wondered out loud", I think of wondering as something I am mulling over in my mind rather than something that is spoken. I loved the passion that was captured during the fight with Zac and Kallum. I found myself holding my breath as Kallum lays claim to the baby and Zac began to come unglued. This was a great story and I truly do hope there is a sequel to that will satisfy my need to know the answers to my questions.
