Although I do not usually read children's books, this is a story that looks interesting because it gives beautiful messages about the importance of family and others such as: friendship, kindness, honesty, the treatment of people and the importance of taking of personal decisions., recommended for school teachers or parents with small children.

This sounds like a fun and whimsical book for elementary-school-aged children. I like how strong the morals are.

Thanks for the review. I love children's book that contains moral lessons. Children's books are always more fun when they have pictures.

This sounds like a truly enjoyable story. Even though I am not in the "target" age group I still do enjoy these types of stories and seeing as I have a young daughter who fits the age range I think that this would be an enjoyable fantasy novel for her to read. I will be putting this book on my to-be-read shelf for now.

This sounds like a great read for younger children. I realize that not all children's fiction has to teach or guide but I love it when they come together in a fun story. I enjoyed picturing corn that was 25 foot tall and rainbow colors!

I think this book is highly relevant to today's times because people are still trying to control others out of greed. This book could be woven into a social studies unit or even a history unit, depending on what students were studying at the moment. As a teacher, I'm always looking for good new literature so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for a free copy of this book. Thanks!

Thus sounds like a great book for kids if it’s anything like Charlotte’s Web. Moppets sounds like Muppets and I always liked them, haha. I’ll check it out.

"Treasure of the Magical Mine Moppets" is a children's book by K.J. Blocker about a strange new underworld where the main characters are surrounded by life’s pitfalls as they discover trust, forgiveness, and true love. Great book for kids. Congratulations on BOTD!!

Great Review. Sounds like a fun read with a great lesson or two thrown in. Judging by the cover, the illustrations are beautiful and the plot is sufficiently nuanced and doesn't appear to talk down to its audience.
