If you view it as pure entertainment, it is good. I try not to compare but I'm an adult. Younger readers might not mind the similarities. I do like the setting (Tibet), so that's a plus.briellejee wrote: ↑17 Feb 2019, 08:52 I am an avid fan of Rick Riordan, and this could be a remarkable adventure with Bobby. It's just that, even from the title and the concept, you could see where the similarity is. Even with Harry Potter. Maybe it's just the popular act with teens now. I'll be checking this out. Thanks for this review!

It was definitely better than I expected. The setting is unique and it isn't quite the typical mystical school, tragic parents type.Rose Harebate wrote: ↑17 Feb 2019, 13:05 I like the fact that the book is an engaging read with plot twists. I will definitely give it a try. Thanks for a great review.
