I prefer the book to the movie. The book is much more detailed and I feel the raw emotions of the characters in the book better than in the movie, and I also like the fact that while reading the book I get to decide the face that I get to give the characters in my head.

Definitely the books. The movies were such a disappointment.

Book, definitely. The book always get into much for detail, and the original plot tends to always work better than the ones in the movies. Also, I'm biased towards the characters visualised in my head, and rarely does an actor match up.

I haven't read the books but I can tell that they were much better than the movies. The movies were ok but from what the rest are saying, the characters were fleshed out in the books.

People usually think books are better than movies , and to be honest that's the truth. Books have more details and less limits - if any at all . I thought the book and movie were really good. Most of the times movies don't really live up to the books but I think for the most part this movie did. I enjoyed both.

I have to say I liked both the movies and the books. But I agree absolutely with what almost everybody says. Books are no.1. because of the details, and background. And because of the way Tris is showed in the books, it says more about her. Of course the differencies of the plots are also another reason for the books being better.

definitely books, but I have to admit I really liked the movies and even though they don't create the same atmosphere as the book, the first movie evokes really cool feelings

Hi everyone :D I think the movies were fantastic!! Think they really did well to convey the character's personalities and the special effects were great. Loved it a lot.

I like to watch the movie and then read the book 📖 for discovering little thing that didn’t was in the movie

Definitely preferred the book! I thought that it was a very captivating and memorable book, but the movie felt like something I wouldn't be interested in watching again.

I think that both are amazing, however, reading the book first is better as it provides more background compared to the movie.

I've read all the books, but I don't remember liking them all. Therefore, I will say movie in this case.

I like both the book and the movie. By the way, I especially like books based on which a film is made later.

Book was better. Movie was missing a lot of things.

Can I say both? Books definitely have more details, but I like it when a book I love is made into a movie. Also, if I like a movie series, I look for the books.
