I watched the movie first and then later read the book. I liked both honestly. It's interesting to see characters but it's also interesting to imagine them.
Memories are dangerous things. You turn them over and over, until you know every touch and corner, but still you'll find an edge to cut you.― Mark Lawrence, Prince of Thorns

Big fan of the movie- I loved the book also and couldn’t put it down-, of course knowing what was going to happen on the next page. BUT, the end left you like “omg” this is how it ends? That part was a bit disapppinting. I read the book first and then saw the movie. I think they did a good job as far as keeping it pretty much the same . I would read and watch again.

I've read the book and I wasn't a big fan of the story. But I'm excited to watch the movie.

For those who have already read both the book and watched the movie, feel free to jump in with your thoughts any time! :)
I haven't read the book but I have seen the movie, and it was beautifully done. I'm always for books over movies but honestly with how well they did with the movie, I think it's safe to say they killed it. Affleck's and Pike's acting were also really good and the directing super.

I don't think I am going to watch the full movie to be honest. But I have watched clips and trailers on YouTube. It looks interesting but I feel like it won't be exactly like the book and some differences might annoy me.

I only read the book. Because I liked it so much, I'm afraid to watch the movie and be let down. Hope I'm wrong!

I quite liked the movie but I definitely preferred the movie more. It always feels like books miss out too much when they're made into movies.
