Thanks for the review. I do love fantasy novels, so from your review, this sounds great for me. You make Piper sound like a great main character that is a strong female lead and tells the tale well. It is a shame that there were too many editing problems that would keep it from getting 4 stars.

After reading a portion of this book, I am drawn to read the rest. It is fast flowing, which I like in a book. I am interested in seeing how Piper deals with her alcoholic father and sweet little brother before she heads off to college.

This sounds like a magical coming-of-age novel. I love how it is imaginative and full of fantasy. Congrats on the book of the day! Great review.

judging from the sample of this book I think it would be a great read! It begins with Piper’s birth but it immediately jumps to her senior year in high school from there. I appreciated the fact that Mitchel Street chose to start the book in a way that opened questions for the reader. This immediately draws the reader in and leaves them turning pages while looking for answers. I can already see why Prophase: A Present Tale has earned BOTD. This story seems like a great Science Fiction that would appeal most to young adults. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

World-building in speculative literature is always a special challenge. I appreciated the portion of this review that identified the gaps in Street's fantasy world. Because this issue tends to jar me out of a narrative, I think I'll pass on reading this book. It sounds like the story has some good potential, though.

Quite charming fantasy and coming of age novel "Prophase: A Present Tale" by Mitchel Street, which revolves around Piper Walker who becomes main caretaker of her younger brother when she lost her mother and her father has become an alcoholic. However, she gets some supernatural powers which are the goodies in this book.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The sample of the book really intrigued me. I want to know more about Piper and the strange beginning to the story. I believe that it will be a good book, though probably not to the caliber of a great novel. I am sure that it will be entertaining and everyone can use some entertainment in their lives. I look forward to reading further.

I am not ashamed to admit that I wouldn't give this book a second look, if I saw it in a bookstore. Mostly because I'm allergic to cats, but after reading review and sample I am convinced that cover doesn't gives it's due to this sophisticated story.

:D This sounds like a really good Fantasy Novel that would appeal to many of our book enthusiast but most especially to our young readers🤗who can easily identify with our main character’s life situations as the ordinary, simple teenage girl, Piper. I, for one, am so excited to read the free sampler I got, although I’m way pass the golden age already🥰 Thank you for your insight into this wonderful work of great imagination👍 Congrats to the author on the #BOTD🎉

The plot seemed fresh and the cat image cover makes it more interesting and definitely intriguing. A coming of age story that apparently caters to the young crowd but will appeal to any age. Congrats!

I´ve always liked the mixture between coming of age and fantasy. I think that being a teenager is a very difficult phase of life, and all the earned experiences are lived with intense feelings. This review makes sound that the main character, Piper, is capable of recreating these feeling meanwhile a whole new world is appearing in her life. These kind of stories were the ones that made me love reading when I was a child. So I think I would enjoy reading this story. Thanks for your words. Congratulations on Book of the day!
