I don't usually enjoy science fiction but this one does sound interesting. What I read from the sample reading was well-written and captivating so I will add this book to my reading list. Thanks for the great review!

Piper sounds like an interesting character. Losing a parent can be a bit difficult to deal with, but what is more difficult is having no one to turn to. Piper's life would have felt like hell: having to be a mother to her young brother and dealing with an alcoholic father, then to make matters worst, her boyfriend dumps her. Interesting review. Nice job!

Piper Frieda is a very strong character that represents a part of humanity. You find her in every home, in every where that two or more people are confronted by difficult situations. Always has a shoulder for others to cry on, as if she is not going through the same pain. Having read this review and a bit of the sample book, I am really curious about how this storyline unfolds to the fullest. Good review. And congratulations for the BOTD.

I might be old for this novel but it seems well constructed with the inclusion of important values, also to overcome difficulties, in the development of Piper's story. Thank you for your great review!

In prophase, A Present Tale, Author Mitchel Street has created a wonderful story that is sure to delight all readers. This story has cycling of life. The protagonist teenage, piper, is easy to relate to, and like most teens, does the best she can to survive her circumstances. I was drawn in by Piper's circumstances, A teenage girl without a mother, Living a bitter life, Forcing her to take the responsibility for her younger brother and house hold chores. If you what your daughters and sons to be stronger, share this story with them. I could not put this one down. It's an interesting book, read and pass it on.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy novel following a young woman as she discovers a new world of different beings and magic and the adventure she will have in this new world. It seems like it would be worth a second look. Well done.

Prophase is a beautiful coming of age story of a young girl named Piper. The plot is captivating and one fantasy lovers would enjoy. The underdeveloped characters might be a turn off though. But, I'd still want to check this out. Thanks for your review

This is an amazing book to read. Loosing loved ones while you are still very young in itself is devastating. Copping with life thereafter is the real challenge. Thanks for the review.

Fantasy books aren't exactly my style of reading. Though fantasies can open the door to our minds, and the unreal can allow us to see the world differently. This could prove to be instructive. Well, I suppose we can test this hypothesis by reading this novel. Good review.

Thank you for the lovely review! I remembered a book because of this, it's called Rise of the Saviour by Antoine Bonner, and it gave me mixed feelings because I also felt that some events in that book are forced, making it awkward. So I don't know if I should read this or not.

Piper Walker’s life is very interesting and I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to know her and be in her journey in this coming of age story. This seems to be about many different types of relationships and how she dealt with each one.
