How Will Santa Know is a children’s book written by Dawn Jung. It is Christmas Eve, and there is no snow. Young Benny wonders how Santa will know that it’s Christmas Eve if there is no snow. Benny's mother tells him to go to bed and not worry, but he can't stop himself from being concerned. A series of fun surprises await Benny as he ponders how Santa can know that it's Christmas Eve if there's no snow.

The book is based on a manuscript written by the author's father, which she found after he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's
disease. The story is told in rhyme and the book is filled with colorful pictures that children are sure to love.

This book reminded me of my childhood Christmases. My father loved the holidays, and our tree was always wonderfully overdecorated. My father read The Night Before Christmas, A Child’s Christmas in Wales, and A Christmas Carol to my brother and me. We sang Christmas songs. It was an extremely important time for my family.

Since my father passed away, none of us have felt much like celebrating Christmas. This book brought back some good memories. I believe it has the potential to become a classic Christmas story, much like the ones my father read to me and my brother in a time when the world seemed to be a more hopeful place.

I give How Will Santa Know four out of four stars. I believe that the book was professionally edited. I found no errors in the text. Using black text on a white background insured easy readability in a digital format.

The story is brief enough to be appropriate for younger children but complex enough that older elementary school kids will enjoy reading it for themselves. The book has a fun, cartoonlike feel.

There was nothing that I disliked about the story. It is well-written and filled with unexpected characters. Adults will likely also find Benny’s story and characters such as the confused Easter bunny amusing. This is a fun holiday tale that family members of all ages can enjoy together. Grinches and adults who don't enjoy children's books should probably give this one a miss.

Thank you for such a wonderful review. I must say that reading the review actually made me wonder like the child. Indeed, if Santa only appears when there is snow, then how will he know when the snow refuses to come out. This is what I would like to find out as I read this book. Thank you once again.

One of the things we all know about Christmas is the snow. I can already imagine Christmas without snow in the winter countries. However, in non-winter countries like where I stay, it is normal. Am sure the book is interesting. Good job on the review.

The introduction got me. The anomaly in the season. This sounds like an interesting Christmas story

I also wonder how there would be Christmas without that snowy feel that comes with it. Surely, I would ask the same question if I were the child when there is no snow. Great review you got here.

This is a perfect book for this time of year!

What would you say is the grade level of the book for a child to read themselves?

It is nice to have a book that brings back warm memories. Your review is very heartfelt and honest. I'm sure many children have the same question about how Santa will know it's Christmas if there is no snow.
