Jack and the Magical Portal is an amazing children's book written by K. M Ellis and J. C Ellis. This book was illustrated by Rachel Shead. This amazing book sought to inspire children like the author's son, Jack.

In this book, we are introduced to a caring, loving, and compassionate boy, Jack. He gives his best to improve his grade despite recently changing schools. Jack's life took an amazing turn when he went to the lake to rest only to discover that he could hear animals talk. This particular incident opens the door to Jack's journey to different places in order to help other children. Where does Jack go to? Would he be able to help children like himself? This amazing book has answers to these and more.

Did I find positive aspects of this book? The answer is an absolute yes. This book would motivate children to be more understanding and caring. Jack realizes that some children act the way they do because of some unknown issues; they could be struggling at home or have a parent that scolds them often. This would teach the reading child the power of understanding and empathy because everyone has something they are dealing with. This book also teaches hard work and dedication. This book would also take children on an adventure. This book was exceptionally well edited; I found no errors in it. In fact, I fell in love with the illustration too. I could tell that so much thought was put into making this book.

The only negative aspect of this book is that Jack dreams of playing for Barcelona. Don't mind me; I'm just a Madrid fan. There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. This book took me down memory lane; I felt like a child. If I were still a child, this book would have opened the door to my wildest imaginations.

So, down to my rating of this book. As you must have guessed, it would get the perfect rating. Therefore, I am fully convinced this book should be rated 4 out of 4. Everything about this book seemed to have been perfect, starting from the editing to the lessons contained in it and down to the amazing storyline.

This book is obviously recommended to children. However, children above four years of age would appreciate it better. Adults like me who get fascinated by amazing children's books would also enjoy reading this. One last thing, if you are looking for a quick read, then this six-chapter book is the perfect book for you and your child.

I'm getting into the habit of reading children's books just because they are so sweet and loaded with life lessons, and this one is no exception. This book's meaning and purpose are both appealing to me. I must remark that the author did a good job. Thanks for the review!

This is a good book for children. Teaching them how to be more caring and kind will definitely make them grow up to become better people.
