Mau, the cat, was invited to lunch by his tiny mouse friend. The mouse was excited when Mau accepted and worked hard to prepare the lunch for him. On arrival, Mau looked around and realized that the mouse was dirty and the lunch was being prepared in a filthy area.

Mau didn't want to partake in the lunch, but he also didn't want to hurt the mouse's feelings. He can either cancel lunch and leave, or he can tell the mouse about his dirty place and show him how to clean it. What do you think he should do?

Mau's Lunch with the Tiny Messy Mouse by Robert Darabos and Irina Stoller is an influential book to teach children how to tell the truth and help others become better people. Sometimes people believe that merely telling someone the truth about themselves is being noble and moral, but it is more than that. It is also about convincing the person to recognize their faults and revealing to them where they went wrong. Additionally, teach them how they can improve themselves. This is one of the remarkable lessons taught in this book.

The illustrations were beautifully crafted, and the text was understandable enough for children. The pictures captured the essence of the story and made it easy enough that any child would be capable of understanding the story through the images. The language implemented in the book was appropriate for a young audience, and enough wording was used on a page so as not to confuse or tire a young reader.

The authors performed an exceptional job in editing the book, as I did not recognize any errors. I can't report any faults with this book, as it was a funny and knowledgeable read. I, therefore, rate it 5 out of 5 stars. It is a fantastic book for young children from ages 5 to 8. On top of that, it is a splendid book for parents to read to their younger children at bedtime.
