Children will enjoy reading Nemur's Conspiracy by Elizabeth Felton. This is largely based on the mostly true story of Nemur E. Moo. Since Nemur is an only child and was feeling a little blue, her mother decided to buy her some stuffed animals that looked exactly like her. When her parents left the room, her stuffed animals would "moo" and come out to play. Reading this book will enlighten you as to what occurs in the following chapters.

Even though they are easy on the eyes, the illustrations are still captivating enough to keep a child's attention. In addition, rhymes were used in the book so that a child's attention would be held throughout the reading experience. At the very back of the book, the author also tucked away some interesting tidbits of information.

Having a child of my own who is only four years old makes me especially appreciative of authors who write their books in rhyme. I found the illustrations to be absolutely delightful. I was really impressed by the illustrator's ability to convey Nemur's feelings through the use of her tail.

Because there was nothing at all about this book that I found to be unfavourable, I will be awarding it 5 out of 5 stars. It is educational and is sure to put a smile on the faces of a good number of children. In addition, the illustrations exceeded my expectations when they highlighted Nemur's feelings by drawing attention to her tail. I am so excited to share a story from this book with my son before he goes to sleep each night. Even though I did find one mistake, that did not detract from how enjoyable I found the overall experience of reading this book. In addition, I believe it has been edited professionally.

This is a book that I would recommend to children starting at the age of three and going up to children who are interested in expanding their knowledge of different kinds of animals.

Beautiful review. As a mother of 2 teenage kids, I can very well relate to such books. The cuteness of the story comes across so well in your review. Have added the book to my shelf, and will read it soon. Still in love with books of this genre.
