Review of My Life as a Cryptocurrency
My Life as a Cryptocurrency by April Lee broke down the evolution of currency from when we had the barter system, where goods were exchanged for services, to the current times of cryptocurrency. People were sceptical across all evolutionary times toward accepting each new form of exchange. While some were later completely accepted as a form of exchange, some didn’t receive as much acceptance, but it didn't stop them from existing. April Lee explained the rationale behind the changes the currencies went through over time and the role of the government in determining the value of each newly invented currency. Furthermore, from a first-person point of view, April opened the reader's mind to the many possibilities crypto offers and extensively explained why it is different from other currencies. Find out the major details of the subject by engaging this book.
I've always known about the existence of cryptocurrency, but this is my first time doing a bit of an in-depth study on it, and what a good start it is. The author eased me into the topic by doing an evolutionary background explanation of currencies before introducing the idea of cryptocurrency. I got to understand the pivotal role of exchange the currencies played and the control the government had over their value, and what that meant for the general public. I learned a lot about the importance of a decentralised exchange system, and My Life as a Cryptocurrency by April Lee has inspired me to start a more advanced study on cryptocurrency. The author used simple diction to explain a concept that many people, myself inclusive, have considered complex for the longest time. The book is concise and straightforward; a vast majority of people will not have a hard time understanding its content.
My Life as a Cryptocurrency is so good that I can't think of anything I dislike about it. It was a short but very impactful read. I learned a lot from it.
This book definitely deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Even though I found an error on its first page, that’s far from enough reason to make me remove a star from the book. It was brilliantly written and professionally edited.
I recommend this book to all cryptocurrency traders and to people who wish to understand how cryptocurrency works because there's a lot to learn from April Lee’s insight on the topic.
