In The Tails/Tales of Fin and Fang by Kat Morris, we go through a day in the lives of Fin and Fang. Fin and Fang are twin foxes who are always up to something. It could be a prank or any other mischievous activity.

While Fin was always joyful and helped their mother with the chores, Fang was self-confident and mischievous. One day, after having breakfast, they decided to pull a mischievous prank on Bear. Bear had warned them never to pull a prank on him again, but they never listened. This time, as they pulled this prank, there was an immediate turn of events. Grab a copy of this book to find out what happened afterwards. Will the prank be successful?

The storyline was interesting and I enjoyed it even as an adult. It had a surprising twist at the end. The diagrams included in this book were very colorful and catchy. This is what any child would want to see in their book. These diagrams were clear depictions of everything that was being talked about at any given moment. I loved the fact that this book was entertaining and educating at the same time. The author made a point of italicizing words that might be difficult for children to understand. She also included a glossary at the end of the book where she listed the italicized words and gave their meanings. This would help boost the child's vocabulary. She showcased her knowledge of homophones by creating a section to help teach the children about homophones.

There was nothing to dislike about this book. It was short and fast-paced. The style of writing was simple and attention-catching. The author avoided using too many characters in this book to avoid confusing the children. Morals can be learnt from this book too. In fact, this author is a good teacher who understands children, and this book proved that. I really hope that this book can be part of a series because I can't seem to get enough of Fin and Fang.

This book deserves a full rating and more because of the perfection it exhibits. I am rating it 4 out of 4 stars. There was not a single error in this book, and it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old. Teachers, parents, and nannies can get this book too. They can read to their children or wards as bedtime stories.

I like reading children's books. I am intrigued by the fact that it has a twist in it. What would the bear do? I guess I'll find all these out when I read the book. Good review

While Fin was always joyful and helped their mother with the chores, Fang was self-confident and mischievous. Quite an interesting contrast. Great review.

Your summary of this book just got me hooked! I was reading on, eager to know how the prank on the bear turned around and you just cut it out. That is a good way to pin readers interest in a review. I guess I will have to read the book to find out about the prank by the two foxes.

Children's book are not my cup of tea but I will have to read this one as it sounds a little unique and short enough. Great review.
