I am glad Freddy the fly finally finds a friend. Freddy's story portrays what happens in our society, which is very sad. It's no one's fault to be born with disabilities, and no one should ever be victimised because of that. I appreciate your review; it's constructive. Well done.

The attractive cover drew me to read the book. It is an amazing and important read for kids and adults alike. It beautifully conveys key messages about friendship, trust, and finding opportunities in challenges. I appreciated the choice of the unwelcome flea, which, although often considered undesirable, plays a vital role in the food chain to help maintain ecological balance. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review; informative and builds curiosity.

I loved the way the reviewer has made a strong case to read the book. The analytical details and the perspectives offered to present the author's composition is appreciated.

The book itself piques my interest wondering how author's imagination would have gone. Leave alone a kid, I am now curious to see what it can teach an adult like me too.

Life can be cruel, whether in the form of humans or creatures. Freddy the fly is incapacitated and is being bullied by the insensitive. Fortunately, he finds comfort in his parents and, ironically, in his spider friend. This valuable children's book teaches us about the importance of kindness, even in the face of cruelty. It's also a great way to learn some features of poetry. Thank you for a lovely review of a delightful BOTD.

The book sounds like a perfect way to teach children tolerance, explaining in an entertaining way how they must accept and understand those who are different, but must be respected nonetheless. It shows how society can be cruel to those they perceive as weak and that disability doesn't mean the lack of strength. Excellent book and well-deserved congratulations on BOTD!

This is a great book for children. It shows the bullying Freddie goes through because of his different wings. It teaches how to handle emotions

Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review. I was especially moved by how you highlighted Freddy's internal struggle with his disability and how the bullying he faced mirrors the real-world challenges many children endure. The use of limerick form to tell such a deep and emotional story is brilliant—it makes the heavy themes more approachable for young readers. I’m also intrigued by Freddy’s encounter with Phyllis the spider; it’s beautiful how a feared creature becomes a source of hope. This story sounds like both a poetic and emotional triumph for kids and adults alike.

Thank you for the wonderful review. Limericks coupled with beautiful illustrations and entwined with an endearing tale revolving around Freddy sums up this wonderful book. Children would find it entertaining along with getting lessons for life. The poetic stance and the hidden metaphors would surely be worth reading for the adults as well.

The gift of friendship and kindness is one of the greatest blessings of life. "Freddy Finds a Friend" by Charles W. Page MD is a children's story presented in limerick form, and takes readers deep into Freddy's condition, the cruelty of his "fly society" and Freddy's inner crises. It teaches lessons on the need for kindness, empathy, understanding and friendship, especially to the underprivileged. The review is splendid, and the book is worthy of any Child's reading collections.

What a lovely read. This beautifully written book does a great job of tackling the all-too-real issues of bullying and name-calling. It’s so important to raise awareness about these challenges, especially in the often harsh world of childhood. The illustrations are wonderful too—the emotions on the characters' faces are really well captured.
Such an encouraging story for children that might often feel alone. The message being, there is a friend for everybody.
