I just like the cover of this book. It looks so lively, and it makes me expect a lot of laughs while reading the book.
Children's books have always been a fun thing to read since there won't be complex writing styles and I will get to see a lot of illustrations.

The story follows a gang of animal characters in the medical field who travel to Hawaii to solve the mystery of why the island pigs are turning red and itchy. Together, the kangaroo, koala, frog, and llama explore the island and try to get to the bottom of this mysterious disease. Congratulations BOTD!

'Official Review: Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians' by Dr. Rachel B. Wellner is a thorough and enriching description of the children's tale for readers. It focuses on the various components of the author's work for avid readers. The point that the story follows a gang of animal characters in the medical field who travel to Hawaii to solve the mystery of why the animal pigs are turning red and itchy is worth mentioning in the review. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the book is full of vibrant, detailed pictures of animal friends and their adventures is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book is both a travel story and a lesson on health!

This is a cute way teaching children about health and medicine in this children's book. I like that children learn a little about Hawaii and solve a mystery. Great review!

I have to agree that the cover is quite intriguing. Makes me wonder what is causing the "red" and "hot". Since there are so many things that could make one red and hot (e.g. allergies, burns, etc.), it will be interesting to find out what the real problem is. Looks like it is age-appropriate.

I'm with you! Teaching children about health, but in such a cute way that they don't think they're being 'taught' something is why I also love children's books like this. I agree with your 4 out of 4 star assessment.

A children's book that focuses on the medical field like this one would be a good one for children to read, especially one that aspires to be in the medical sector.

I love children's books that aim to educate the reader and are also full of adventure. And Doctoroo and the Case of the Red Hot Hawaiians seems to be one of those books, as Doctoroo and other animals go in search of the disease affecting the Island pigs.

I would definitely recommend this book to all kids as it teaches a valuable lesson about our bodies and our health. It also speaks about travel and I like how it is set in Hawaii. All the kids of school age should get a copy. Congrats on the BOTD!
