"Official Review: Alpha Buddies Land' by Donna Marie Rink is saturated with meaning. I love the way the reviewer explores the salient features of the book for avid readers. The point that the book is a compilation of the letters of the alphabet in a colorful and creative formation of words from these letters is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the colorful and big diagrams in the book contained interpretations of whatever each letter described, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book was both educational and entertaining as the author wrote in a creative and poetic manner!

As a teacher, I did not love it.
The pictures offered some words children can guess, but there were some words and pictures that were confusing. For example, Theo was a "t" word, an "x-ray fish" was just a fish, the waterfall made sense in the "w" picture but not fishing in a waterfall for "f," or a ball in the "m" picture.
The characters were consistent and bright, but the fun of the pictures is making predictions. The best parts to guess were emotions, like crying, objects like frog or lollipops. The guessing makes the book engaging.

I enjoyed the use of alliteration to demonstrate each of the letter “buddies”. The illustrations are bright and fun.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children’s book following two letters, A and B, that go on an adventure. It appears to be designed to help children learn their letters. It might be worth a second look especially for parents with young children. Well done.

This seems like an adorable way to learn the alphabet!
I have fond memories of a similar book I had as a child.

I like books aimed at children where creativity and education abound.

Drawings and illustrations help a lot to encourage creativity, and much better when they are part of learning for children.

Thanks for your review.

Review of "Alpha Buddies Land"
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I only wish my son was here so I could read it with him and see what he thinks. There are some amazing illustrations in this book, which are on their own separate page, I find this to be kind of unique. My favorite, who would have guessed, "Rockin' Red R"! He's playing his guitar, which he named Roxy, over the rainbow. I find that this book is geared more toward little ones, like probably around ages 2-5, and I think children of this age will absolutely love this book. I feel like the author could use a different tone, it seems to be kind of boring at times, and I'm not sure if it would be able to hold a child's attention until the end. Maybe it's just the way I'm reading it, I'm not sure, but I think the author should take this into consideration. Overall, this is a cute little book, and if I had younger children, (my boy is 10), I would definitely be reading it to them and showing them this beautiful artwork! I would give this book a 3/4.
