I am honestly impressed with the topic of this book. There are so many children who lose loved ones and parents just don't seem to know how to deal with it since it's not a topic that tends to be discussed openly. It can be very hard for children to cope with grief, especially because many of them don't fully know what it means to die. Thanks for the review. I don't have any children, but I will keep this book in mind.

Wade Warren Bergner beautifully navigates the delicate topic of grief for children in 'The Mirror Box.' The captivating tale of Christopher and his grandfather's mysterious box is not only heartwarming but also a valuable resource for young minds grappling with loss.

Grief is a topic that is rarely addressed. It is good to know that the author has some some tips which can help children process loss of a loved one. In today's digital world it is extremely rare for children to spend time with any family member I think this book help them change their perspective.

At a certain point in our lives, we will experience losing someone dear to us, which is hard. The book is all about love, loss, and moving on. I know for a fact that our loved ones wouldn't want us to be forever in grief and sadness, even though they are not here with us they will always be here in our hearts.

I loved this book as it dealt with emotions from a childs point of view. We need more of these kind of books to help out kids that have some emotional baggage that maybe they can't say out loud but see how an emotion can be handled without someone telling them how to handle emotions.

I agree with you on the cover not making it obvious that the book is about grief. That being said, I feel like the book is beautifully written and covers an important topic. Thank you for your insightful review.

A lovely tale about a boy named Christopher, his grandfather, and a mirrored box can be found in the book "The Mirror Box" by Wade Warren Bergner. This is a good resource for kids dealing with the loss of loved ones.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

What a great topic for a children's book. Grief is a horrible emotion for adults as it is, and I think for children even more so. I still remember how my niece battled losing her Grandmother and this book then would've helped so much. Thanks for a wonderful review and I agree this could make a wonderful series.

I agree with you, Christall this book deserved 5 out of 5 stars. It handles the subject of grief in a way that children will understand. That's an interesting point that you make about the cover not explaining well what the book is about. I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good point.

This review denotes a way in which the child finds a way to cope and finally learn the truth of death. He has found a way of connecting with his grandfather through the mirrored box. With time everyone learns the way of living.

Creating books that assist children in understanding and relating to their emotions is a fantastic idea. Since grief is one of the hardest emotions to deal with for anyone, especially children, it is very beneficial for parents to read this aloud to their children even before a situation like that arises in the family. That way, when the time comes and someone in the family passes away, the children will recall the reading and the lessons they were taught.
Great review, is detailed and enlightening.
