From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's story about a young quail and her friends, a squirrel and a jackrabbit, as they travel to go to a Fourth of July parade. It might be worth a second look especially for parents with young children. Well done.

Very many learning points from the book, including the lesson from Tikky's short wings. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This book seems like a wonderful book. Although, it seems wrong for Tikky to leave his house and go on such a long journey without his mom's permission but then I felt Tikky was just so intent on accomplishing his goals. Thanks for the great review

I am curious about Tikky, I want to know if he was able to fly with his short wings. Children are very adventurous and Is a lesson. Good review.

Can't wait to read the full story of how Tikky, the quail travelled to the event given the condition that it's wings are not big enough to fly.

I would never say no to an illustrated book. Would definitely want my nephews to read about the quail and the adventures at the parade.

The idea of sneaking out doesn't sound great for a children's book but the prospect of adventure and learning some valuable life lessons asking the way trump's it. Thanks for the great review.
