I like how the author really describes Pud's adventure back home after falling asleep in the truck. The illustrations were good and I liked how it was from the cat's perspective. It teaches kids about friendly and unfriendly animals and what goes on in their heads. I was disappointed to not know what happened to the bird Pud disliked.

Brian Murphy's 'Pud- The WANNABE Cat' is a delightful tale that sparks curiosity and imagination. Pud's aspirations and adventures, coupled with the author's engaging narrative style, make this book a perfect choice for young readers seeking both entertainment and valuable lessons.

"Pud- The WANNABE Cat" by Brian Murphy seems to be a very interesting book for children to understand the difference between animals and for me may carry a bigger message to follow your instincts and the importance of safety we find in our homes.
Great review very interesting and well-written.

I have a niece who loves cats, so I'm going to get this book for her. Children are drawn to stories that are colorful and showcase animals, so I know kids are going to fall in love with Pud. Hopefully, Pud is able to find his way back home and get to accomplish everything he's every though about. Congratulations to the author for having the BOTD.

The first-person narrative lets readers see the world through Pud's eyes, giving them a cat's perspective. Colorful and unique illustrations draw children into the story and add visual appeal. Children learn about animal sounds from the author's descriptions, enriching the reading experience. The author skillfully writes for kids and adults. The simple history and vivid descriptions of Pud's surroundings make it fun for kids and parents. Pud gets lost and meets Australian wildlife, changing the story from a happy cat with its family. This change excites young readers.

I grew up with cats as my dad kept them as pets. It would sure be interesting to read a book about them that can help me understand them. And I think this book will make some children who didn't know much about cats, to start loving them.
Thank you for the review

Pud is an interesting cat. He wants to be brave but I thinkhe is already a brave cat. I do agree that the thought of the enemy bird was left unfinished.

Pud The Wannabe Cat

I love a well illustrated children’s book because it always grab their attention first. Pud didn’t want to just be an house cat, but was a great swimmer. One day Pud fell asleep on the truck and when he woke up he wasn’t home anymore. Did Pud speak to fast? Even as adults we will always get a laugh out of a children’s book, we are still kids at heart.

I loved the fact that Pud wanted to be more for himself, he wanted to be braver and do more things! We should learn a thing from pud. I hope he found his way home after being taken away by the Gardner's truck.

Great review of a children’s book with vivid illustrations. *Pud: The Wannabe Cat* by Brian Murphy is narrated in the first person so we see things from the cats’ point of view. Interesting way to look at things and one that children would enjoy. The story sound interesting because the cat gets lost and has to find his way home. When children read this kind of story they get reassured that cats and people can always find their way home.

I hope Pud finds his way home. This will be a great book for kids. However, I don't read children's books so I'll skip this one.
