A story about friendship between different animals are always beautiful. I enjoy children's stories such as this. A hummingbird and a narwhal couldn't be more different. I can't wait to read this book. Thanks for the review.

Annie Higbee's children's book, Hummingbird & the Narwhal, showcases unexpected friendships between a hummingbird and a narwhal. The hummingbird, pushed from her path, lands on a narwhal in the arctic, separated from his family. The two animals quickly become friends, discovering their similarities and helping each other.

"The Hummingbird and the Narwhal" underscores the importance of looking beyond appearances, finding common ground, and supporting each other through life's challenges.

Despite being a children's book, I think all readers can relate to the book as the theme is universal.

It is true that the selection of characters is unique; I have never a book where the animal characters were a hummingbird and a narwhal. The lesson on kindness and friendship is one that transcends age and any identity we humans have placed on ourselves or others. Many thanks for the fascinating, informative review.

This book seems to stress that you can be two different people and of different origin but being kind and friendly to each other won't hurt. The humming bird and narwhal depict this and I like that. Congratulations on making a book of the day

It is a beautiful children's book that tells how a hummingbird and in Norwhal became friends in an unexpected places and getting to know each other they found out that they have a lot in common. I
t is a very captivating story that teaches and sends a message about the importance of love, kindness and friendship. I love how both animals recognized their similarities and how they could help each other.

The write up, the settings and the experience from the author is really satisfying. I love the beautiful illustrations that goes along with the words to and makes it possible for one to fantasize on the storyline.

The other and her illustrators did a wonderful job in putting up this piece it's a lovely book that all kids will enjoy and goes way beyond just being kids book it teaches human nature how to be kind and generous.

There's a lot of competition in the world that has turned us into merciless, competitive and angry beings. Reading The Hummingbird and The Narwhal will teach us how friendship and kindness is important in our lives.

A friendship between a bird and a sea animal. That's a very unlikely relationship. But just like the reviewer said, friendship can be found in unexpected places. I guess it's good that we widen our horizons to get such friendships.
