Fascinating to know the struggles and turmoils encountered by both, father and son. The reviewer paints an interesting picture. Thank you

This sounds like a fun, intriguing read for kids and adults alike. The cover made me think of Five Nights at Freddy's (but tamer/not so horrifying), and I like that there's a father-son dynamic even though both characters are separated. Thanks for the awesome review!

I don't think that this sounds like a book that I would enjoy reading. However, I do think that I know of some children who would enjoy this book. It sounds like there is quite a lot of imagination and suspense as the father has been kidnapped. With it being the first book in the series, I imagine that there will be a lot of plot development and character layers.

Today's BOTD is an adventurous first-in-series middle-grade novel about the love between a father and his son. I definitely plan to join Timmy and the bears on their journey as they battle The Dark and try to save Timmy's father! Thank you for your review! :-)

Thanks for the wonderful review! I am such a sucker for a book with a message and deep character involvement. I can't say WHEN I will get to this book, but it sounds like an adventurous and emotional story and I am DEFINITELY interested. I'd better bring my tissues and prepare for the intense father-son arch!

This being the first book in a series, I know there's a lot of suspense. The book is also mysterious and adventurous. Timmy sounds like a timid but, courageous character. Thanks for the great review.

Great job on review, definitely got me intrigued. "Bear Company (Dark Corps) (Volume 1) is filled with enthralling moments that had me at the edge of my seat turning the pages in anticipation of what would happen next. From one encounter with The Dark to another, I could not help admiring the determination of the undeterred gang. The book left me wanting more.. "this is definitely making me want to read it. There is nothing like a page Turner, and now I want to know if father and son was reunited. Congratulations on BOTD.

So many young protaginists are on their own in children's books. It's nice to see one with father and son working together.

Judging from the cover, I could not have guessed this book has such beautiful themes. I am already in love with it. The themes of adventure and mystery have piqued my interest.

I generally don't read childrens books, however, the sample I read and the above review makes me reconsider...I'm curious about the box on the bear and the wolves backs and wonder if Timmy's Dad is going to make it back home safe. Could it be that the new nanny was not chosen by his Dad like before...?
