Sounds like a cute and fun book. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the conventions I had to go to were held in places like the Bahamas!

Great review! I have never read this series but I am definitely interested in them now. I think you did good with realizing that this is a good educational read in regards to emotions and feelings. This would be very good for younger children to help them express their emotions in a more appropriate manner.
