Thanks everyone for your comments! I agree that the cover art is very cute and the pay it forward message is an important one.

Paying it forward is a great thing to teach kids, and showing it in this way works well. I don't think they'd actually mind the made up words, but I do agree with you about using slang.

Paying it forward is a good concept to learn. This book really shows that. More people today need to learn this concept.

This is an amazing illustrated children’s book that focuses on the importance of helping others, without expecting anything in return. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an awesome OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @dynomikebooks on the BOTD selection.

I liked the premise of the book. I share your concern over the usage of slang. But it is nice to note that otherwise the book is well-edited. The underlying message of nurturing a helping attitude is a nice lesson for kids.

That’s an interesting point about hangry and schnarf. My kids still loved the book though. Nice review.

There isn't a better book to entertain your kids and yourself as well as teach yourself those lessons that you heard while you were a kid. Plus, it takes a short time to complete it. Yepee! Let me jump into it!!!!!

An attractive illustrated children's book that focuses on the importance of helping others, without expecting anything in return. The basis of a children's book is to leave good teachings. A good option in this genre.

Colourful illustrations and animals in the story are sure to attract kids. Helping others with no expectations is such a crucial quality to teach kids that is often overlooked. Loved your review and thanks for pointing out the slang word. Now when I read it to my kid, I will be sure to not confuse him with it.

I like children's books with positive messages. Not only does this book talk about doing good for others, but it also talks about paying it forward, and that's fantastic! Too many slang or made up words might be a problem, but just a few can give a story some flavor.

A good way for the children to grasp the idea of helping each other.
