This book is soo fantastic and has a lot of humour, reading the book has made me smile. In every chapter the writer articulates his thoughts well.

I never ever thought that I would see a book with this name and be this impressed by it. I liked how interactive it is and how it is an interesting way to teach kids about common English idioms. An English teacher will have a field day with this book. Congratulations on BOTD and best wishes for future projects.

Elephants give me joy, and if there were any little ones in my life, I would pick up a copy of this book to read to them. Congrats to the authors on their achievements.

The Elephant(s) in the Room: Another Sammy the Weasel Story by Denny Laake and Monica Laake Beavers is a cute and fun adventure featuring Sammy, a self-assured weasel who fancies himself to be a great detective, and Kramer his companion, a schnauzer dog. Kramer spots some strange happenings in the house and asks his friend Sammy to investigate whether there might be elephants inside. The story is one in a series where children can follow the adventures of Sammy and Kramer, characters that are very much the opposite of each other. Sammy’s focus is on playing up his talents. Kramer is humble, with a slow and steady approach, and draws conclusions missed by the self-assured Sammy. Kids and parents alike will giggle as Kramer rolls his eyes when Sammy’s haughtiness focuses on his cleverness rather than seeing the elephants in the room. As the story unfolds, you can imagine children shouting with glee, “but there is an elephant…just there.”

In The Elephant(s) in the Room by Denny Laake, the colorful illustrations by Monica Laake Beavers add to the story’s amusement by bringing to life a monster in the closet, camouflaging characters in trees and on the wallpaper, and entertaining young readers with a myriad of facial expressions that are sure to delight. The red crayon over-writing on the titles and some of the pages add to the merriment as it’s typical of what a child (or weaselly Sammy) might do when misbehaving with books. Your review of 'The Elephant(s) in the Room' is spot on! It’s impressive how the authors, Denny and Monica Laake, have maintained humor and mystery throughout the series. I particularly agree with your observation about the precise vocabulary – it's crucial in children's books to keep the language engaging yet accessible. Also, the emphasis on character development in such a short format is commendable. This book indeed sounds like a great addition to any young reader's collection.

It is a very interesting and engaging review by PeterRabitt20. Although I have not read the book completely ,however I feel deeply involved in the content of the book through the eyes of the reviewer. The beauty of the review was multifold. The reviewer's use of attention grabbing lexical resource, introduction of the main plot and excitement brought about by main characters is marvellous. Most importantly, the reviewers laid down the two fold importance of the book , one of being it a very interesting story and the other one of it holding a high value in terms of the quality words used in it for learners of English. Lastly, it was a real joy to have come across this book by reading a review of PeterRabitt20. :D

A comprehensive review which highlights all the aspects of the book. An apt book for children filled with laughter and challenge. Artwork resembling 3 dimensional cutout will add to the delight of little readers. A dog and a weasel an unlikely combination.

This is a great children's book. The word play with animal names makes it both humorous and interesting. Congrats on BOTD!!

I think it's safe to say that there weren't any elephants in the room when it came to this review because it's humorous, mysterious and has attitude, just like the children's book it was describing,
It’s packed to the brim with humor, mystery, and attitude.
and those were the 3 key words that got me trumpeting it's worthiness. Thank you for an excellent review.

I love this review! It's exciting and makes me want to find out if they found the elephant in the room.

This was a tough read in that the sample was interrupted by an ad to buy the book. I had just walked into the house with the characters and couldn't read any further. I never got the full flavor of the characters and wasn't far enough along to form any attachment to the characters or the story.

Furry investigators Sammy and Krammer are certain to interest our young readers. The writing style appears to be spot on in the sample pages, as confirmed by the reviewer. The appealing illustrations will also captivate the children. Congratulations on BOTD, author!

I love funny books and this particular story is really giving. The endearing relationship between Kramer and Sammy makes splicing cases somewhat easy.
