Today's BOTD is a children's book addressing a crucial environmental issue. I liked that the author has used young characters in the World Patrol Kids group, which makes it very interesting for the target audience. It inspires and empowers them to take charge and do something about the deteriorating ecological system. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Thoreau seems like an interesting character that brings humour to the readers. I admire the diversity in this book. As a child, I read many mystery books and thoroughly enjoyed. Reading your review makes me feel that the children will enjoy reading this book too.

From the review, when I read the word Tsavo Park, it reminded me of how my childhood was and the epic story is that, being an advocate of mother Earth it brightens me seeing that kids are striving to conserve the environment. It is a must read for kids and any one who values the environment.

I love how the book teaches the importance of caring for the environment as well as the possible repercussions of littering. Owing to the kind nature of the group of friends, children can also learn the benefit of choosing their friends wisely. What also stands out for me is the lovely relationship between the siblings and how they happily include Thoreau despite the age differences, not forgetting the diversity of the characters as mentioned by the reviewer. I'm sure children will enjoy and benefit a lot from this book!
