Yes, I liked how the author included gratitude without it being overbearing. He gently guided the reader to the realization that their supplies were valuable.

I'm probably showing my age, but that was a fun reminder of sitting in class with our new calculators figuring out words we could spell. :D

I love reading children's books because there are a lot of lessons that even adults could relate to. I like how this book teaches children to be grateful for the things they have despite how small it is. Thanks for a wonderful review.

I love reading children's book for the same reason! A well-written children's book can distill complex issues into a simple story WITH PICTURES. :)

I was quite curious to know what this book was about when I first saw the title. Thanks to your insightful review I now have a good idea. Seems like a fun way to keep kids interested and entertained, whilst teaching them some valuable lessons at the same time. Great Review!

It is always good to be thankful for the seemingly ordinary supplies we receive. I like how the author wrote this to teach the kids that it's ok to be thankful for little things.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

Great review. This sounds like a really engaging book with great illustrations.
I have to admit, I was one of those kids that loved school supplies - who am I kidding? I still do! Although maybe started when I was a bit older than this target audience.

In addition to teaching the kids that it's ok to be thankful, the author describes the usefulness of their supplies--that makes it easier to be thankful because they can see the value.

It really is a delight when you expect less from a book and it exceeds your expectations rather than the other way around. The author's interesting rhymes and rhythm will hold kids’ attention perfectly. Thank you.
