Yes, I liked how the author included gratitude without it being overbearing. He gently guided the reader to the realization that their supplies were valuable.Jermaine Moonsamy wrote: ↑13 Sep 2022, 11:27 Kids can learn a lot from this book knowing how important that u have your own supplies of school stuff and appreciate them.

I love reading children's book for the same reason! A well-written children's book can distill complex issues into a simple story WITH PICTURES.Hannah Mae Fabro wrote: ↑17 Sep 2022, 05:34 I love reading children's books because there are a lot of lessons that even adults could relate to. I like how this book teaches children to be grateful for the things they have despite how small it is. Thanks for a wonderful review.

I have to admit, I was one of those kids that loved school supplies - who am I kidding? I still do! Although maybe started when I was a bit older than this target audience.

In addition to teaching the kids that it's ok to be thankful, the author describes the usefulness of their supplies--that makes it easier to be thankful because they can see the value.Anselm Freeman wrote: ↑19 Sep 2022, 03:11 It is always good to be thankful for the seemingly ordinary supplies we receive. I like how the author wrote this to teach the kids that it's ok to be thankful for little things.
