This is a suitable read for children who love magic and have a hard time going to bed. Coupled with beautiful illustrations, 'Ryan Daniels: Good Night, Firefly' is a book that parents could read to their kids over the course of a few nights.

Getting kids to sleep can be one of the most difficult things to do. They'd always have Ryan's mentality- there always seems to be better things they could be doing. I loved the illustrations the author used. I wonder what Ryan did when he was shrunken. Congrats on BOTD.

This is a good book for kids who don’t want to sleep because they want to keep playing. I think a lot of parents will find this relatable. Thank you for your review!

Thank you, Christell, for that thorough revue. I think that the book is a good case for a discerning parent proofreading a book first before reading it to a little sleepyhead. I noticed some errors, but overall I think this is a sweet story.

Sleep is not always a favorite of children, but the creative spin Ada Aguilar executed brilliantly in Ryan Daniels: Good Night, Firefly. My nephews are just like Ryan and they love magical stories. Hopefully, this book can help them sleep better. Thank you for writing a captivating review!

I can relate to the main character - there is often far more entertaining things to do than sleep.

I loved your review...great observation about the candy too! Well done!

Filled with beautiful illustrations, today's BOTD is a second-in-series children's book that follows Ryan Daniels, a child who would rather do anything than go to sleep until one night when he gets a visit from a firefly. This book might be the answer parents have been looking for!! My nephew has such a hard time going to bed, and I cannot wait to read this to him! Thank you!! I've downloaded my copy! :-)

The point of taking gifts from strangers pointed out in the review freaked me out. It's a children's book, so that gift must have been justified properly as from whom it was taken. Definitely I won't allow my child to think that taking eatables from strangers is okay.

Surely kids will love this book—not only the kids but,of course, their mothers as well. My son has trouble sleeping at night; he prefers to play until late at night, and it's stressing me as a mother. I will definitely get a copy of this book. This is a Big help to us mothers to get our kids attention to go to sleep through this enjoyable and magical story. Thanks for the helpful review. Well done!

Thank you for enlightening us through the review. Congratulations for BOTD! My child loves this genre of books and it is a definite inclusion in my list. Parents are constantly searching for such books that help children to sleep well with imaginary fictions. Glad to see there are beautiful illustrations too.

Children books usually come with unique tales of fiction that always interests me. I will read "Ryan Daniels: Good Night, Firefly" by Ada Aguilar to know if Ryan later grew back to his normal size.
