Thank you for a good review. I read the book and personally enjoyed every aspect of this book in terms of the theme, writing style, and visual art.
I agree with you that we should appreciate the author's chosen topic on dealing with grief at a young age.
Christopher's loss of his grandfather and how he deals with his emotions in this book at a tender age is a book that should be more easily accessible for young children in this world.
Everyone deals with grief in life, most of us grow into adults and still battle with these emotions. A book such as the " Mirror Box" by Wade Warren Bergner, helps a young reader to relate to such a sensitive and deep topic in a Suttle manner. I love the message of hope, strength, and courage this book communicates as well as the idea of death being a transitional state. I appreciate the end of the book that contains the guided exercise on dealing with the loss of a dear one, reinforcing the messages communicated in the book as a practical exercise.

This book talks about such an important but easily missed topic in children's book: grief. I really liked how you penned this review. Congrats the author on BOTD.

Those who mourn shall be comforted. When grief befalls you nothing matters anyone, but the fact that we comfort ourselves that we shall reunite again keeps us going. A great read. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for the great review. I've read the book and find that you captured its main idea quite well. I'm also impressed that the author took a different approach with the book to help highlight children coping or dealing with grief. I think it makes a great choice for reading especially where there's grief in the family.

I loved how this book focused on the positive side of grief. Losing a loved one is extremely challenging to handle, especially for children. I'm curious to find out what's in the mystery box. Thank you for writing another exemplary review, Christell! :D

Thank you for the extended review! It seems like a lovely little book for kids. Grief is a hard subject, but it's important to be able to talk about it and for kids to read about it at their level. Great job highlighting its strongest points!

I loved your review! This sounds like an amazing book for kids, and I'm excited to have a copy. Thank you!

Today's BOTD is a children's book that follows Christopher on his journey from loss to acceptance after losing his grandfather. Young readers lives are filled with so many different emotions each day; I love that the author wrote this beautiful book to not only help them understand they are not alone in how they are feeling, but also help families talk to and teach them healthy ways to look at and deal with grief. Thank you again! :-)

The previous generation has lived with grief and poverty. The incidents of depression are so common with kids these days because they don't have darker days to compare their lives with. This book will help kids with that and I am happy about that. Congratulations to the author for the BOTD and best wishes for future projects.

I'm new to reading because I've never found interest in it. But after reading this book I actually felt Christopher's pain because I to have lost a love one (MY Mom). I haven't found a way to deal with it yet. But I now know that closing my eyes and just reminiscing about times we spent together talking and laughing will help a lot. Thanks for the great read.

This book is a reminder that even when we lose someone we love, their love never truly dies. It lives on in our hearts and memories. The letter the grandfather leaves behind is such a special gift. It's full of love and wisdom, and it helps the child to heal from his grief.

This book tells the heartwarming story of a young boy named Christopher, his grandfather, and an intriguing mirrored box. Following his grandfather's passing, Christopher found himself in a state of grief. However, he remembered that his grandfather had left him a box which he was strictly forbidden from opening or speaking about with anyone. what did he do about the box, readers will find out. Children would benefit greatly from reading this book.

Topics such as grief, money and crimes are often left out in the presence of children. While it may be hard for them to digest the complex topics, simpler versions can make sense for them. Your review was really informative. This is a thoughtful initiative. Congratulations to Wade for the BOTD.
