What an admirable relationship of Mr. McTavish and Gma! Indeed, human and pet relationship is one of the cutest! I am certain that this book will be full of fluffy adventures!

This book has great illustrations. I love that it is written from the dogs perspective and gets into the feelings about things rather than actually understanding what something is.

This appears to be a lovely book for children. It's great to see the companionship between Mr McTavish and his owner. It's also great that the concepts are easy to grasp and the illustrations are beautiful. Thanks for a great review!

The book looks fascinating and would be nice for young children to read. It would explain the bond and companionship between humans and their pets to the young ones growing up. Thanks for the review.

This may be a children's book, but I believe every true pet parent, at one point or another, wonders what their pet thinks of their owner, home, toys, etc. As you mentioned, it would be very interesting to converse with our animals and get their opinions. This sounds like a cute children's book. Thank you for the review :)

Seems like a really interesting read from the review. Would definitely add it to my reading list. It would be fun to read a dog's perspective.

What a sweet tale! It seems like the ideal book for young readers. I adore that this book was written from a dog's point of view. They make wonderful pets and are quite lovely pets. I appreciate the review.

As an animal lover, I am interested in this book. I like the fact that the Scottish Terrier, Mr. McTavish, was given a Scottish name. His owner, Gma, also dresses him in tartan clothing to embrace his ancestral homeland. I also like the fact that the story teaches children the importance of having gratitude, being kind, and being obedient. The illustrations really bring this story to life!

This is a beautiful book. Narrating events from the dog's perspective, what a twist. Well done for this review.

Any kid reading "McTavish Goes to the Library" by Bon Kay will find it fun. Listening the Mr. McTavish (the pet) narrate his relationship with Gma give a sentimental feeling that he is well treasured and valued. The graphics and short texts make the book more thrilling to kids. The rating of 5 out of 5 stars is well deserved.
