Thank you for sharing your review with us. I also enjoyed the real photos implemented within the drawings. In my opinion the simplicity of the book is to keep the attention of younger kids - if the plot or vocabulary is too complicated, they will lose interest, because they don’t understand it.

A book like this for kids is crafted specially and i love the fact that the book is short and filled with illustrative pictures. I think the author could also made the book in series. Nice review.

I've never really given pet ferrets a second thought as they're not legal in my state, but this story does sound cute. It's definitely unconventional both in that it's a children's book about a pet ferret and that it uses photographs instead of drawn or painted illustrations, so I think it's at least worth a look.
