I love the way you described Nadira as the “damsel who is never in distress.” I also love strong female protagonists, and it sounds like she fits that description. I’m a sucker for fairy tales, so this book would probably be something I would read. Thanks for the great review!

A fairy tale where the damsel is not in distress is a cool concept. I would like to dig into this book and find out how Nadira probably saves the Prince for a change! It is intriguing how the two would be able to get their happy ending amid the usual evil antagonists.

A book on strong female lead. A fairy tale spinned. Having a strong headed female protagonist is the best point here. The second best thing is the fairy tale part which I see as the interesting part. The very first thing I noticed about this book was it's cover which is so beautifully crafted. I would give this book a definite go!

This is a modern fairytale where the heroine doesn't need saving. She is strong and spunky and can takecare of herself. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

I like that some children's (or YA) books are being included in this forum. A modern-day fairy tale would be a great read for all three of my granddaughters, especially for the one who loves to do "tom-boy" things! Thanks for a very nice review!

I don't believe it is really customary to be fond of fairy tales in my old age. I enjoyed reading description given in review of this book by reviewer, but I am sorry to say book itself hold no interest for me. Apologizes and congratulations with BOTD!

I really appreciate the writing skills showed in this story by the writer. I'm in love with the main character nadira and how powerful, hopeful, and adventurer she's. The story is such an inspiration for both kids and teenagers (and why not adults) that we're able to change our destiny even if it looks impossible.
We're looking forward to your next one !

Wow this fairy tale looks actually more close to reality than ever!
The apparent contraddiction of Nadira being the opposite of the "classic girl" and going against the rules of the society is a message to all young girls but also boys to be themselves because this is the first and most important step for realization.
I am gonna start reading the book soon and will keep it for my son and in a couple of years introduce him to this beautiful story.

Will the protagonists choose their true love or fulfill their duties towards their kingdom? I think they will. I can't wait to read this one. This is an excellent review.
