So I'm guessing the author's cat got found after two years; that sure was a long time! I hope Shadow finds his way back home. Thanks for the lovely review.

This seems to be a fantastic book for kindergarten and elementary school kids filled with drawings. Though, very young kids might need help from their parents with this book. Thank you for the review!

As a cat owner myself, I can't imagine the pain of missing your pet for two years. I think it's wonderful how the author chose to share this real-life experience in a way that young readers will enjoy reading. Shadow seems like the perfect cat for little readers to fall in love with. Congrats on the BOTD selection. I wouldn't mind reading this to my class!

Shadow sounds like a fun cat. Children will enjoy reading about his adventure, before finding his way home. Even though this is a children's book, I think adults will relate especially cat lovers. Thank you for your review.

Another great Furr baby tale! As a pet lover, the story tugs on the heartstrings, doesn't it? I enjoyed the illustrations, and with Amazons Favorite Reader review, I got to enjoy the touching storyline

Shadow the cat finally chases his dream—only to lose his way home. Based on a true story, "Shadow’s Adventure Home" by Kathy Kovar is a heartwarming children’s tale of curiosity, courage, and the journey back to family. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Cats are instinctive. I am rooting for the Shadow to make his way home. The illustrations are well done, they definitely give you a vivid picture of the story as you go through it. I went through the emotions when Shadow gets list

Like the reviewer, I also have cats, and can see the similarities between this one and my own; the author knows them well! It’s always a relief when cats miss their prey, especially birds. Lovely handmade pics, not Ai.

The review gives an intro to a potentially great read for children. It is quite nice to see a BOTD that is not science fiction or laced with conflict. This is calming to see a children’s book about animals. The cat finding its way home is encouraging.

Shadow sounds like a lovely and fun kitty! I, too, thought the drawings were interesting. Thank you for your thorough review. It really drew me into the book and relayed the premise of it without giving too much away.
