Thank you for the review. I have a daughter who adores bedtime stories. I can see myself buying this book and reading it to her. Especially the story about Gilby, it sounds like a fun adventure.

This is a very good review of a children's book. Though am not much of a fan of children's books, it is good to have a list of bedtime stories to help build a child's imaginative mind. Except when it comes to controversial issues such as sexual orientation, like same sex partnerships, that you now see popping up in lots of children's cartoons the review fails to mention if there is any such controversy contained in the book. After all even conservative families would like to find bedtime stories with age-appropriate themes or underlining principles.

I have not read nor reviewed any books for this younger age group for some time now. What caught my eye were the three short stories with illustrations. It brought back a lot of wonderful memories from when I was reading this type of book.

Reading the first sample was enough for me to decide to add this to my list. This would also be a great choice for a reading party with a group of young children.

In my youth, I have read similar stories of children with access to a time and/or location travel machine. They do stimulate a sense of curiosity and wonder. Great book for children and adults alike!
