The story sounds very entertaining and like an informative peek into African culture and storytelling for both kids and adults. If the illustrations are of the same quality as the one on the cover, those should be magnificent as well. I love fables and the like from cultures around the world, so this seems right up my alley. Thank you for the helpful review.

When I was younger, I always enjoyed a story set in the animal kingdom. They are always interesting and filled with moral lessons. It’s good to know these type of book is written for kids. Congrats on being the book of the day! Nice review.

This sounds like a wonderful children's book. Kids would learn and have fun at the same time with this book. Asking for help when you need it shows you're strong enough to evaluate a situation and overcome it together.

it took me in interest as soon as I read India there. but anyways, by reading the review itself what I learned is -
a. the story is set in Africa which is very clear from the book's cover itself, all the bright colors are also close to Indian culture as it is to Africa. so I can relate myself to be there .
b. it reminded me instantly of the Madagascar movie.
c. emphasizing on the "old stories" passed down from elders will teach kids to learn that they need elders/parents for guidance in the long run. when situations are tough and they are more tougher as you grow. so, its okay to ask for help.

by only reading your review, I feel connected somehow, and it had increased more curiosity in me. I am sure that this book will be a great addition to children section, but I also feel it will be good for adults to read and to learn that at times we have to put our ego aside and ask for help. that we cannot do everything by ourselves. we too need guidance from time to time.
it sparked a sense of joy in me, children will love it.

I love such folk tales. They remind me of the other African folk tales I read while growing up. They always delivery great life lessons using fictional tales.

I believe it will be a great experience to read this story. With its colorful illustrations and story line, children will definitely be attracted and wanted to read it. As a children book, it contain lessons that children or even adults should take note of. Including cultures and landscape description, wide imagination can be pictured, so it will be nice reading it!!
