I read this book and I fully agree with Roy's review. It is a great book, and although I am a few decades older than Roy's recommended audience, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the morale, and the illustrations. I support Roy's all-stars rating for this great educational story in perseverance.

"VROOM! Barry, Kari and the Power Boost!" delivers a heartwarming message about determination and the power of supportive friends. Fast Tommy's encouragement highlights the importance of perseverance when facing challenges. The book beautifully conveys that success often requires time and effort. This tale is a valuable guide for children, emphasizing the significance of hard work and determination. Readers are left eager to find out if Barry, with Fast Tommy's guidance, triumphs in the upcoming race. Look forward to reading this book in near future.

We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.

This is a children's book that talks about how Barry always admired Kari’s speed and always wondered if he could be as good as Kari which led to him trying to run but fell while running and deciding not to try again. He later met his helper who encouraged him not to give up and that he could succeed. I like how this book is full of lessons and how it's easy to understand for children. Nice review.

Congratulations on being selected as BOTD
Barry's strength and never-give-up attitude are pretty inspiring and Tommy has been an amazing friend to Barry since the start. This book will be a great positive influence on young minds.

I wondered at the title at first, but now I see it's quite fitting for a children's book. I love the perspective from which you reviewed the book and how you started it off as a letter to a child. Children need all the encouragement they can get.

“practice makes perfect.” always works as long as one does not give up trying, and puts up with the pains of failure until the joys of successes arrive. Once successful, everything is easy and one may wonder how things could be so hard earlier. With a goal and a date in mind, success will not be far. Motivation to succeed for the important people in one’s life will keep us going. The cartoon pictures make it not boring to read, especially for children whose concentration spans may not be so long for long wordy readings.
