Your review took me into the book. I love to watch animal documentaries. I am fascinated by how smart animals really are. For a moment, it reminded me of the movie, "The Lion King". This sounds like a book I would love to read and I don't even have children. Africa is a beautiful country. Also, there seems to be lessons we could also learn about the country, and the book takes us on what sounds like a great adventure. Thanks.

This is a great and informative story. I agree that even though it's meant for children adults can also benefit from reading this book. Congratulations on making book of the day!

2022.05.07 Animal Village by NeldaLaTeef. Children’s books.Thank you for an instructive review. Everything about this book as you describe it would be of educational value, and even entertainment, to children: that it is anchored in tradition and its visual presentation.

I'd really like to read this. It sounds like a novel version of the stories we were told as kids. In those stories, the Tortoise was the wisest and usually the craftiest, the Lion was the king and the Elephant was usually the ones the animals feared; gentle and catastrophic. Your review has definitely brought back memories of innocent times. I'd get this book. Thanks for the review.

Growing up I've always enjoyed stories about the animal kingdom. The illustrations show that this book would be a wonderful read for children. This is a beautiful review.

I love this review. There's a tantalizing anticipation to it. I'm not sure I would ever read a children's book even in my free time, but I am honestly curious to experience for myself the proverbial displacements to African tapestry the artworks in the book are gloated to do.

Nice book to read for young once about Chief Zamboha, the lion king, on how he came up with a solution for the drought when he didn't have a solution but he asked others to assist, he shows good leadership, thanks for the review simple and manageable to examine and comprehend, "Animal Village" by Nelda LaTeef.
