I love how the review was written because halfway through it made me be fascinated by the book. The reviewer used little description that well described Lea and her influence in the book. Lea's character was well brought out especially where her parents marital issues was mentioned and her traveling to Texas. I believe that many teenagers who are undergoing the same problems as Lea in life will benefit a lot from this wonderful book. Thank you for the great review.

This book seems like a true coming of age book wrapped in a mystery novel. Tweens and young teens can certainly related to the issues Lea faces in the book. Congrats on BOTD!

This is an amazing coming-of-age young adult fiction novel highlighting folktales, myth, marriage, divorce, friendship, loneliness, and growth. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @CherylKerrBooks on the BOTD.

Not only does Lea have to deal with growing up and maturing while having been put in a strange place with someone she barely knows, but she also has to find a way to reconcile herself to her parent's divorce. I think that children will easily engage with her, especially those who have been through their parent's separations and/or divorce. I love that she has the help of a ghost and solving a mystery to help her through these trying times in her life. Excellent review, thanks!

Middle-grade readers that enjoy coming-of-age stories are sure to enjoy Kerr's book! I'm interested to see how ghost sightings fit into this story's overall plot!

I like that the book focuses on Lea and not on her parents' separation. The description sounds really good, so I might give it a try.

I feel bad for the girl, reminds me of when I found out about my parents divorce when I was little.

Lea's feelings are well-developed. Having your parents divorced is a nightmare, and she is in a whirlpool of emotions.

Cannot put my finger on it but, for some reason, the review of this book made me remember the long-favourite book of my childhood - that of the adventures of Tom Sawyer! I am certainly excited to be able to sample this!

Thank you for such an informative and inviting review! :)

This coming of age story sounds packed with excitement and adventure. It also seems to be a story with lessons on making the best of a potentially negative situation that many readers may appreciate. I imagine that parents of teens would see the value of having this intriguing book on their child's bookshelf. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like a great read for teenagers especially when it comes to helping them deal with situations that are out of their control.

It's strenuous just to think that your parents are separating let alone you will have to live with a relative you hardly know. A very nice story for young adults. Congrats to the author 👏
