Pud: The Wannabe Cat by Brian Murphy and Keith Blake tells the story of a curious cat who gets lost one day due to his need to explore, as well as his arduous return home. I found the book really entertaining, and I consider that it shows, once again, how the daily lives of the authors, added to their imagination, create fantastic stories.

Pud: The Wannabe Cat is an adventure story of a cat named "Pud". Why she is called as "Wannabe" ? Well to know more one should enjoy the journey  . I wish the review did not give a hint about the wannabe.

This is a helpful review that highlights the positive aspects of the book, such as the first-person narrative style, colorful illustrations, and sound descriptions. However, it points out a perceived flaw regarding an unresolved plot point. Overall, the review is sufficient and provides insights into the book. It may motivate readers to buy, particularly children aged four to eight and cat story enthusiasts. From the reviewer's perspective, the book appears to be a good addition to a library, despite the mentioned flaw.

The review was impressive. I enjoy children's books, particularly those with illustrations. I'd like to delve into the story to find out if Pud makes it back home.

Great review the book sounds interesting and entertaining for children. They get to learn about different animals and the sound they make. I love that it is recommendable to children from the age of four.

The review of "Pud - The WANNABE Cat" appreciates its engaging first-person narrative style, providing insights into a cat's perspective. Colorful illustrations enhance the reading experience, captivating children's attention. The author's description of sounds, along with the inclusion of the inspiration behind the story, adds value. However, the reviewer notes an incomplete storyline involving a bird, impacting the overall satisfaction. This book is recommended for children aged four to eight who enjoy cat stories.

Nice review!
Another thing I like about this book is the colorful and distinctive illustrations that are provided throughout the pages. Those pictures make it easy to follow the story, and they also help capture the attention of children and keep them glued until the end.
I could not agree more! I’ve only seen a couple of illustrations from the sample thus far, but they definitely captured my attention immediately (said the children’s book lover lol). Are they colored pencil drawings? I believe so, but if not it’s something with a very similar look. It appears to do a great job of creating a child-like visualization for the story.
Despite the positives, I feel like the story is incomplete. The author introduced a bird at the beginning of the tale as Pud's greatest enemy and showed a couple of instances where the bird troubled Pud. However, nothing was written about what became of the bird.
This is understandable. On one hand, this could leave room for more stories about these characters to be created. Even still, having a more concrete conclusion (even if it's temporary) would make it stronger as a standalone book.

Today's BOTD is a cute children's book about a cat called Pud. The illustrations in this book are eye-catching and will be a source of fun for the young readers. I enjoyed the lovely cat 'Pud' and his cute narrations; I hope he finds his way home. I will recommend this book to little kids and parents who enjoy reading to their little ones. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Thanks for sharing this review. I think this book raises an interesting question: What does it mean to be yourself? Pud is a cat who wants to be more than just a house cat. He goes on a journey of self-discovery and learns to embrace his true nature as a WANNABE cat. He also finds out that being yourself does not mean being alone. He makes friends with different animals who accept him for who he is. This book shows us that we can all be WANNABE cats, who are brave, smart, and adventurous, but also loyal, loving, and grateful. Congrats to the author, #BOTD!

This concise review points out the main elements of this children's story. I read this story and I agree with everything this reviewer wrote. I often read to my grandchildren and I know that the first-person narrative and great illustrations will captivate their full attention. :techie-studyinggray:

Lots of kids have pets and this seems to make that important. I know this is mostly about the cat, but Pud teaches that everyone can make themselves better. Congratulations on BOTD!

Good review! The book is a cute story of a cat who wished for something else and got it. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for," certainly applies here. I'm glad he got back home.

Pud is a house cat who wants to be a lot of things. He is not happy with what he already has. I think stories of this kind are a fun way of teaching life lessons to kids. I read a few pages, and the artwork was so good. Congratulations on BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.
