For a child, dealing with the loss of a loved one can be exceedingly difficult. The author chose an unusual yet much-needed topic to write about. As mentioned by the reviewer, the length of the book and the illustrations will keep the child's attention. Congratulations on BOTD!

Topics such as grief, money and crimes are often left out in the presence of children. While it may be hard for them to digest the complex topics, simpler versions can make sense for them. Your review was really informative. This is a thoughtful initiative. Congratulations to Wade for the BOTD.

It's great that the author addresses grief and specifically the loss of a loved one in a way that children can relate to. Often grandparents die when some or all of the grandchildren are still kids and parents often keep children away from the tragedy. This boom can help parents to help their children work through their grief. Thank you for the great review.

Grief is not often addressed in children's books. This is a beautiful book for children about death in the family.

I know we like to think our little ones will never experience the despair of loss, but it happens. I lost my dad and my best friend while I was still a kid, so I know how invaluable resources like this book can be. Though you are right, the author should make it easier for parents and caregivers to find it. Thank you for your brilliant review.

This is an exceptional and interesting novel. You'll meet the main character called Christopher who was grieving for the lost of his grandfather. He remembered that has s grandfather had left for him a box. What's inside it?
I recommend this novel. Congrats on BOTD!

The subject of death and grief is very sensitive for children. If not handled right, it can have really traumatising effect on them. It’s good to see that there’s a good book available for this matter. Thanks for the great review!

Children find it hard and struggle to cope with life after losing their loved ones at a young age. "The Mirror Box" by Wade Warren Bergner is a great resource to help them learn how to overcome and adapt to life after grief. I feel sad for Christopher for losing his beloved grandfather. I am curious to find out what is inside the mysterious box. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Wonderful review that captures the essence really well. I agree, the cover or title didn't indicate what it was for, and wish it did. Definitely something I'll have my 6 year old read. The language and comprehension is easy to understand and very relatable for young kids; to some extent, adults too!!

This review is direct and gives all the information a parent would need to pick this book for his child. It delineates the main topic of the book clearly and how that could be meaningful and of importance in a child's library. The review although does not hold back from highlighting the negative aspects, even with a 5/5 evaluation

A masterfully produced and drawn book, The Mirror Box gently tackles the subject of mourning in children. It deftly handles the difficult issue of dying with a heartwarming tale about a boy and his grandfather, providing parents and kids with a useful tool.

I’m over fifty years old and wen my dad passed it was helpful to have something that he had given me. I can only imagine that it was the same for Christopher when he lost his grandpa. It will be useful for children to realize that everyone has these feelings. Congratulations on BOTD!
