I was unfamiliar with this book until I received a kindle copy for free. I am so happy I followed that link! This book is delightfully thought provoking on a child's level. My four year old actually learned something about a tragic issue in our society, which can be very lacking in today's children's stories. He especially enjoyed the vivid and bright pictures and Rocky's overall tale. He "got it". Thanks for an entertaining and important lesson for children. We raise these little people into the adults of tomorrow. Let's make sure we remember to teach kindness along the way.

Looks like a beautiful book, interestingly this is not the first children book I see where the main character is a tree. I have to check this one out

Thanks so much for the great review! I believe the book is a great reminder to all of us to never give up on our dreams. Sometimes life's reality is more than rough and we all need someone to come alongside of us and say, 'hey, I believe in you, do you believe in you?' Well, when two or more agree...., the impossible road can intersect the possible! Looking forward to reading this one for sure. I was raised in NY and always looked forward to seeing the tree at Rockefeller Plaza and the ice-skating.
Congrats to the author on a great book for all ages!

Even the review puts a smile on the face and joy in the hear. Based on your review, I can't wait to read the book and view the pictures. Happy just thinking about it. Also can't wait to meet A.J. A squirrel a Bully! "Say it ain't so, Joe!" We feed them, along with deer, raccoons. rabbits and all kinds of birds. Anything else that wanders out of the woods.

Rocky by Jennie E Nicassio tells us about the great aspirations of Rocky, the Christmas tree. An endearing and heartwarming story for children which talks about faith and believing in yourself.

This one was previously a book of the day choice. It was offered free today so I did get a copy of it. Great review of the book Rocky who's dream comes true. by Jennie E. Nicassio. This will be one that I will share with the grandchildren.

I loved this book back in December when I purchased it and I still love it today! I had to comment again and just let people know what a great book it is for kids. You will not be disappointed with this download! Thank you so much for making it free! I have also left my review on Kindle, Goodreads, and Amazon for 5/5 stars!

I want to add that the pictures at the end are fantastic! I love the fun coloring pages and the real-life photos of the process of choosing the tree to its final stage of being lit are awesome! I also enjoyed seeing the pic of the very 1st Rockefeller Tree...so cool! Great job!

This sounds great. It is definitely not something I have seen before within the context of a holiday children's book. I have seen a tree as a character before, but not one that could be portrayed in such a positive context / role model for young readers. Thanks for the review
