This sounds like a great book that any child would benefit from. There's so much to be said for the power of gratitude, mindfulness, and positive thinking. I'm glad to hear the author included a list of activities at the end as well for the reader to try out. Thanks for your review!

This is such a heartwarming review! It's clear that Precious You is more than just a book; it's a valuable tool that offers genuine support and practical strategies for children facing common challenges. I especially appreciate how you highlighted the relatable examples through the characters and the inclusion of diverse illustrations, making the advice accessible and empowering for young readers. The emphasis on mindfulness, gratitude, and resilience sounds incredibly beneficial. It's truly wonderful to hear that this book can help children "hold their heads up high and know that they are precious."

This seems like a lovely book for children with self-esteem issues and those who are suffering from being targeted by bullies. I like the fact that it teaches resilience and promotes positive thinking. These beneficial behaviors need to be taught and reinforced at a young age so they can be carried into adulthood.

Thank you for your very enthusiastic review. 😊

"Precious You" by Jenna Dar is truly impressive! I loved how it directly addresses lonely, bullied, or self-doubting kids, offering practical tools like mindfulness and positive thinking through relatable examples. The diverse characters and activities make it so accessible. It's a wonderful guide for building confidence and resilience; I just wonder why every school isn't using it?

I gather from your review that the book aims to develop resilience and perseverance and build confidence in a child who is a victim of bullying and struggles with low confidence. What I am left wondering is whether the book instills confidence in the young child that when they talk to trusted adults, actions will be taken against the bullies and they can get out of the situation. I like how all your reviews start with questions. It garners the reader's interest.
