A lovely children's picture story book "Mum, The Fairies Stole my Glasses" by Tracey C Ayres, which follows a Sally, a girl who has difficulty seeing clearly without her glasses. This book appears interesting to read.

The intriguing storyline you mentioned has piqued my interest in "Mum, The Fairies Stole my Glasses." It's always a joy to read a book that keeps you eagerly turning the pages, and it sounds like this story does exactly that. I'm curious to find out if the fairies really did steal Sally's glasses and how she will overcome this predicament. Your description of the book's simple yet charming nature makes it all the more enticing

I don’t really like to wear my glasses, either, and sometimes feel like flinging them away, too. And I’m over 50. Congratulations on BOTD!

This review captured the entire story. It's a fun story for kids with a lesson: learn how to take proper care of your stuff. I listen to the audiobook, but I'm sure the story is more vivid with colors.

What a well-written review!
I have actually always enjoyed children's books. In fact, I have read a few pages of this book myself before.
Though I sadly couldn't complete it, I remember that it was surprisingly enjoyable to me and my niece.
The children's innocence and creativity, the assurance and encouragement to those who are ridiculed by their peers for their appearance, and the chucklesome journey to find the glasses all ultimately compliment each other.
I totally agree with the reviewer's niece. The book is too immersive in a good way of course :D

Mum, The Fairies Stole my Glasses.
That's a compelling title, I must commend.
I do like children books a lot, and this one is not an exception.
I will check this one out.
I would be delighted to find out, what really happened to sally's glasses, if it truly got stolen by the faries.
This is a good review by the way.
Congrats on BOTD.

The illustrations are amazing and I was drawn to the story and it also kept me wondering where the glasses are. The story started strong and I am excited to see the story unfold to lead the readers where the glasses are.

I sampled the book, and I love the page designs-text and picture illustrations share the page equally, and there's no overlay on one another. The images are also fantastic for attracting young readers. I hope Sally finds her glasses. Nice review.

The story sounds entertaining for children and the illustrations are an added bonus. This book seems perfect for reading with children and great that new words are introduced that children can ask about.
